Emanuele Giovanni Ricci was born in the province of Treviso – Italy in 1963.

After graduating at the Conegliano Veneto High School of Agriculture, he studied at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan and spent a period of training in the studio of the architect Gianfranco Frattini, he then began his activity as a designer.

Idealism and research are the basis of his thinking.

Thanks to his studies in the field of botany, entomology and technology scouting, he is able to decode and transfer in his projects many phenomena of the natural world.

In thirty years of work he has developed his own language, where the modulation of light by forms and technical research play an important role.

In 2015 he founded, with Alessandro Alberti, Enhance Vision System (EVS), an innovative start-up, which develops and patents an optical joint that can eliminate the blind spot generated by a vehicle’s A-pillar, without compromising its static safety. He alternates his activity as a designer in his studio in Milan, with periods of retreat in the northern hills of Treviso where he elaborates his artistic research.

Teaching and workshop in Italian and European institutes.
